*UPDATE 11/04/14 : Our landlord gave us a tentative yes! We'll be writing a proposal with the detailed plans, enticing them further to get the green light with the project!
I'm sure a lot of you guys connoisseurs of nature have thought about starting one!
Here's a great idea that caught our attention.
DIY Colorful Vertical Garden On A Fence
This is especially exciting because of the possibilities it offers in creating your own colour schemes for the terra cotta pots which you can readily coordinate with the environment you have at home.
Using the latches also means that you can place each pot wherever you want on the fence, giving you the option to explore some creative placements along the wall or fence.
Of course, one potential downside might be the infeasibility of drilling holes into your fence if you're renting a property like the rest of us.
If that's the case, there are some pretty affordable hanging vertical garden options on eBay, or some of these other ideas that might be more aesthetically and logistically suitable for you.
In the coming weeks, Ryo will be updating his own vertical garden project on his Instagram. There's plenty of vertical garden inspiration there too, so definitely check it out if you've been wanting to have more green-goodness in your life.
Happy Sunday!
